Great post, I need to finish watching Silence. I think it was on Amazon Prime, but I have to check again. God bless, Happy Easter :) This very encouraging post reminded me that no matter what I'm going through, God is with me in both good and bad times. He never leaves our side even if it seems He is silent.
I know I am about a month late, but This is an encouraging post, thank you for sharing. I’m reminded of the phrase I learned in my Bible college, “post tenebras lux” which means “after darkness, light”. I’ve always loved the simplicity, and power of this statement. Christ (for the Christian) forever smashed the idea of eternal pain and darkness. Why do we know that the dark valley we’re in will end? Because Christ rose from the grave. If there is darkness, we know that light is soon to come, to which we say AMEN come quickly Lord Jesus. Thanks again for those thoughts

THANK YOU for sharing! I love that: "post tenebras lux." What an encouraging phrase for us!
I remember reading Silence and being disappointed by its ambiguity. I much prefer your interpretation.
